Shortly after the Martins arrived in April of 2009 their twin sons, Brenden and Dylan, started coming over in the afternoon for some of Barbara's homemade cookies. After a while their father, Butch, also would join us at the 3 PM coffee and cookie time. The boys were 9 when they arrived and we have enjoyed watching them grow to a mature age of 12. Yesterday they flew to Oregon for a summer vacation and will return to their new home in Florida. So it was time for the dreaded farewells.
