A visit to Dr Morgan on January 18 resulted in him scheduling another IV Methylprednisolone treatment, which was completed. Then massive doses of prednisone where scaled down to a 20MG level, but the improvements were not as expected. Another doctor appointment today led to a change in treatment. They have now scheduled a 5 day Intravenous immunoglobulin treatment with a follow-up doctor appointment on March 8. Meanwhile, she is able to walk around the house, but has a lot of fatigue. The appetite is good and sleep is adequate, however, balance is a problem along with some speech difficulties. We remain optimistic!
