A natural compliment to my love of gardening is preserving some of the harvest for later use. It's always fun to see how much is put up every year so I kept records just to document it all. The right hand does not work and the left hand now has tremors. Robin cans and will get all canning items. After over 40 years of canning, which I loved, it is time to hand everything over to Robin.

Another year of canning and I still love to can. This year I canned 102 jars of various items. Here is a list of items I canned:

This has been a wonderful year for canning and I do love to can. I have been using Xylitol for some of the relishes and jam and they turn out wonderful. The sweetness is the same, no sugar, and I can share with my diabetic friends without a problem.
