Texas and The Russells
Along with our normal long talks around the table we did find the time to check out several favorite spots, such as:
The Central Market in Fort Worth. It is more than just a food store and we always eat there.
Whole Foods Market in nearby Arlington. Also much more than your average store.
Half Price Books: in our opinion the best all-round book store. We went to several locations since each store has a different mix.
Babe's Chicken Dinner House, a rustic style restaurant that serves a huge chicken fried steak and outstanding fried chicken.
The Apple Computer Store at Southlake Town Square, a new store that handles all Jack's favorite toys.
After making this trip several times we have discovered several places we like to stop along the way. For lunch we now go to The Dairy Palace in Canton, Texas. They have an interesting menu at low prices. Their buffalo burgers are wonderful (as is everything else).
