Back to the local Long Branch Opry for the best all-around show we have seen there.
The Cherryholmes Family (in picture) consists of dad, mom, & four children ages 13-21. The 13 year old girl, Molly Kate, is a left-handed fiddle player who is amazing while her 21 year old sister, Cia Leigh, plays the banjo and excels at the vocals. The entire family seems to play multiple instruments and all also sing. They are one of the best bluegrass groups we have ever seen anywhere!
The Boohers is a great bluegrass group from Northeast Tennessee and 4 of the 6 are members of the Booher family. Each of them are also quite talented with special mention to Rachel Johnson, the fiddle player, and Thomas Wywrot, a fantastic guitar player.
