The Long Branch Quartet opened the show with Opry owner Charlie Short singing. Charlie's daughter (Kelly), son (Wade), and "Uncle Earl" round out the group; they did great as usual with some fine gospel numbers.
Three on a String does all kinds of music - old standards, country, classical, bluegrass, and folk. They also kept us laughing all evening long with their antics; what a talent! See them if you have a chance.
