Texas Trip - Russells
It was great to see Bob and Lorraine again and, as usual, they took us around to some of our favorite places and were the perfect hosts. Some of the stops were:
The Central Market in Fort Worth. It is more than just a food store and we always eat there.
Whole Foods Market in nearby Arlington. Also much more than your average store. Yes, we ate there too.
Half Price Books, probably the most fun book store we have ever found. This time we went to six different locations since each one has a different mix.
Babe's Chicken Dinner House, a restaurant that serves the biggest chicken fried steak we've ever seen or outstanding fried chicken.
Both coming and going we stayed at a Jameson Inn in West Monroe, LA, for the first time and were very pleased. A wonderful trip to start a new year.
